How far in advance should I book wedding flowers with Elyssium Blooms?

At Elyssium Blooms we give our full attention to our clients through the floral process and as such we only take on an exclusive amount of wedding bookings per year. Due to this, we suggest getting in touch as soon as you are ready, about 9 months to 1 year out from your wedding date (sometimes further if in peak wedding season). You are welcome to reach out if your wedding is fast approaching, if available, it’s amazing what we can organise in a short amount of time.

Is there a minimum spend on florals?

Yes, we have a minimum spend of $4,000 for all wedding floral bookings.

Can you tell me what flowers will be available for my wedding date?

Absolutely! With years of experience, we can provide you with names of seasonal flowers during certain months. If there is a particular flower you are hoping for, we can let you know if it will likely be available or not. Please be aware that due to working with a product of nature, many elements including the weather can cause flowers to become unavailable. We will always do our absolute best to pick the freshest seasonal blooms for your event.

How do we book our wedding with Elyssium Blooms?

We are so excited that you would like to have us a part of your day!

The first step is to fill out our online enquiry form, this helps us capture some key factors for your wedding day, including size, your floral budget and of course to check if we are available for your wedding date.

From there we may ask for further information from you to be able to provide a fully personalised floral proposal or we may suggest a phone or in person consultation to go over the finer details with you.

We will then send your floral proposal through, which includes our T’s and C’s and booking form.

Please note - your booking is not confirmed until your 30% retainer has been received.

Can we meet with you in person to discuss our flowers? I am not sure what I want yet, I need your help.

Yes, absolutely! If you are unsure of what you are wanting, and need personalised assistance with going over all things flowers, we are more than happy to meet and discuss in person over a coffee, or over the phone with a phone consultation. You are welcome to provide a “wish” list of florals you have your heart set on, or we can create a floral styling proposal for you based on your vision and floral budget.

Can I make changes to my floral proposal?

You can absolutely make changes as your wedding date gets closer. We understand that your colour palette and some styling can change due to the amazing inspiration we see, although please keep in mind that we remove our services from other possible bookings based on the size and floral requirements for your event and as such, are unable to reduce your booking by no more than 10%. At the time of booking, you are committing to your floral proposal/spend.

Please note that NO changes can be made from 30 days out from your event.

Do you charge delivery? Are there any other charges?

Yes we do. Our delivery charges include travel time, staffing costs, preparing and creating your floral arrangements and of course bump out if any of our items have been hired.

When is my final payment due?

Your final payment is due 4 weeks out from your wedding. We will be in touch at this time to check that there have been no changes made, on the day contacts remain the same, double check timings for the day and go over any remaining details.

What happens if we have to postpone our wedding?

These things happen, we will offer to move your booking to a later date, subject to our availability. Please get in touch with our team for all conditions around postponements.

Please note that we require a minimum of 1 months notice.

Can we re-purpose the flowers from Ceremony?

Yes! An Idle & Relocation fee will apply, as our staff will have to wait onsite until post Ceremony. Please get in touch to chat to our team about possible options.
